I'm a rather passive, amenable fellow on the surface but I have deep-seated personal convictions. I am very intuitive, and therefore never wrong, hahaha. I think people are inherently interesting, but I have a rather introverted and avoidant personality prone to bouts of extreme social anxiety. My mannerisms are fairly gender-neutral, but I identify as queer because of my empathy/sensitivity/over-active mirror neurons, lack of aggression, lack of ego-centrism and my total lack of depth perception/visual-spacial ability. I'm also attracted to men, but I really don't trust them despite overwhelming urges to do so against my best judgment.
In order to maintain my socio-economic status, appease my father and discover why people are so fucked up I went through all the hoops and got a BA in psychology with a 2.4 GPA from UCSB. My best subjects were creative writing and abnormal psychology, which I aced. Then I went home and fixed my family (which is what I wanted to do most of my life) using the knowledge I gained (which surprisingly relied more on behavioral psychology than I wanted). I currently work for my father's environmental testing business killing fish and washing glassware as well as drive my disabled mother shopping for groceries and exercising at the gym. She is slowly improving everyday and we are all relatively happy.
My short-term plans are to keep it up and to maintain my relative happiness. For my long-term plans I am considering going back to school to get my master's, if I can find a school that would take me; or becoming a male h |
